They can either use the IHERB code that knightofalbion posted or the code of some other iherb user.
It makes no difference to them. So the choice is to help someone who has provided them with good advice or help Iherb make more profit.
Don't be fooled by that hype that IHERB use to promote their rewards scheme.
I'm sure most people have sufficient intelligence to work out that IHERB cannot put themselves in a position where all their customers are buying items below cost price.
So they build into the scheme ways of the discounts running out of time and of filtering out some user/codes so not everyone using your code will be recorded.
What does everyone know, in their heart of hearts, about any scheme that sounds too good to be true?
We are all adults here and I shouldn't have to explain
If something sounds too good to be true, it probably is
You should be mature enough to work it out for yourselves.
But that said any discount is better than no discount so
Don't look a gift horse in the mouth.

I like iHerb and choose them as my first. I don't have rewards code, but do have VIP where I get nice discounts on their products, which are already nicely priced. This mostly pays for the shipping.
I also like https://www.swansonvitamins.com/ They have a lot of products, good service, great prices.

I think every customer has one. Sign into your account and look under iHerb Rewards or you can use the email account you sign onto IHERB with. So anyone you recommend use iherb can enter your iherb account email address to obtain an initial $5 discount. and sharing your email address for that purpose will increase (given the proviso's I've listed in previous post) your total discounts applied to your order.

If Swanson's shipping to the UK was as cheap as Iherb I would use them also. Vitacost and Vitaminlife also offer good prices (as do many others) but it's the shipping to the UK that keeps me returning to iHerb
International Airmail: $4.00
Orders up to $80.00, and 3 pounds (1360 grams)
Flat $4.00! Very Reliable, But No Tracking
DHL - International: $8.00
Usually Takes 2-5 days, with tracking number

I would not have recomended IHerb if I didn't believe they were a good supplier. IHerb has been a great place for me to order from, if someone and myself can get a small discount from our purchases by using a code (CUL361), why not do it?
I agree with a lot of Ted's post. It is a lot better worded than anything I could write, so I will add nothing further.

Swanson vitamins has a coupon that during checkout if you use swan199, you'll get shipping for $1.99 on your order. I've been using it for the longest time that I can't remember not using that coupon. Normally I think it's 4.99 for shipping

Jim, how did you get your VIP membership? I buy a lot from them, VIP would be very useful.

I appreciate the information Ted shares. I will second that it is always backed with very useful information. I have aquired a great deal of usefulness from some of his posts. I not trying to cause any trouble, I am merely posting this to show Ted that there are people who appreciate what he does.
I really did not mean to offend anyone or do anything unethical. I only come to this site for guidance and to guide when I do have the chance. I didn't think there was anything wrong with providing a code that could save myself and someone else money on buying good supplements from a company that I believe has great service and products.
Kinghtofalbion, my true intentions are only to help others and myself on this quest of better health that we are all on by supporting the comunties, services, and bussiness's that make it possible. I appreciate where you are coming from. It is ashame we don't all see eye to eye on this, but that doesn't mean we won't/can't agree on other things in the future.

I don't even remember. It happened last year. I think all I had to do was to register an account with them. I was getting 6% off of orders greater than $50 (most of mine are). It is considered a VIP discount. I think they changed that to 4% now, then more as the purchase total goes up. I did not know about their "rewards" program. I don't like that kind of thing anyway. I promote them to my friends already. Most of them already have "first" orders. I'd rather vendors or companies like them just discount their products to everyone, instead of programs like that. I don't like pyramid schemes either. Never liked multi-level marketing either.

I haven't been in a GNC store for decades now, I remember them being very expensive. A lot of times I pay high prices for vitamins at my local store, just for the convenience of having the item immediately. I do try to work around sales and use coupons when I can.
When I'm ready to make a big order, I use Swanson Vitamins online, or order by mail through their catalog. For some things they don't carry, I go to Vitacost.

I take vegan vitamins specifically geared towards women. It's a "power pack" that contains five supplements with multivitamins, multiminerals, probiotics and enzymes, along with bone health & antioxidant formulas.

Just recently I've been using the coupon code from swanson vitamins 1penny, which changes the shipping from 4.99 to just one penny.

good luck....and great forum....glad i found it...

They don't seem to be very cheap though and when you look at the shipping cost to the UK I'm sure UK readers will find IHERB better value esp if they use code WAB666 for a $5 initial discount. What matters in the end is the TOTAL price including shipping cost and less discounts available as rewards or for loyalty. Ultimately its the final cost you actually pay that matters.
However I have other concerns such as vitamin K2
If we are going to help people with osteoporosis we MUST ensure they have vitamin K2mk4 yet this company does not offer that form. Why not?
We know from
GRASSROOTSHEALTH
That MOST people will require in the region of 5000iu/daily D3
Yet this company only offers 1 option at 5000iu and that is $17.05 for 90 vcaps while I pay $7.92 for 200caps.
It's also a bit pointless offering cholecalciferol (from lanolin) in a vcap.
