But, different people react differently to pathogens so it is not a lock. \n \nI would try some MMS, at a very low dose. One or two drops. If it helps, then you will have a good idea if it is a pathogen causing the problem. H-Pylori comes to mind, but there are other less common ones that can cause pain. \n \nIf this does not help, I would get an endoscopy, which would be a good idea in any case. Sometimes you need a firm diagnosis to know how to proceed, and it could be a more serious problem. There is no way to know without "taking a look". \n \nIodine, may be a good treatment to try also, since you have a history of cysts. It kills some pathogens also. Arrowwind knows a lot about this. \n \nDan\r\n | \r\n

I went through a similar issue this year. What I found out is that I have pelvic congestive syndrome, which really means that they have no clue. \r\n <!-' + '- / message -' + '->\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\n \r\n \r\n\r\n \r\n <!-' + '- sig -' + '->\r\n \n \nI have had two sonograms and no diagnosis... not even a guess or clue, and cost me a ton of money, until I went to Mexico with a lot of pain and visited a gynecologist in Mazatlan. My main concern was to rule out cancer... No cancer found either in the US or Mexico. \n \nAfter a lot of discussion it was determined that some fairly minor vericose veins found in the pelvis that US docs didn\'t think would be causing this issue, is likely what is causing this issue. The Mexican doctor and I decided that we would try a treatment and if I responded then we might be safe in assuming it is vericose veins. ... he also thought that there was a possibility that this vericose vein, when swollen could be "rubbing" on a nerve, and hence greater pain than expected from a vericose vein. \n \nI was given a pain pill called..... Dolo-Neurobion since tylenol and ibuprofen did not help one bit.. and a narcotic was out of the question. \n \nI was also given a micronized bioflavinoid called Daflon. The doctor says that in Mexico almost all their cardiac and vascular patients get this pill because it strengthens the vascular walls of the vessels. \n \nThis combo worked really well for me.. I have minimal pain now and when it starts to increase I start taking the Dalfon again. There are numerous studies on pub med for this product and its effects on the vascular system. \n \nboth products can be found on line. I rarely use the pain pill as I am suspicious of it.. it is made by Merck.. who made the infamous Vioxx.... but it works to alleviate pain like a charm. \n \nHe recommended gabapenton (neurontin) if the pain continued, but again, I would have to be near dying before I took that drug. This is prescription only. \n \n \nI wrote an article about this Daflon product a while back. read it here: \n https://www.natmedtalk.com/other-dise...morrhoids.html\r\n \r\n __________________ \r\n <!-' + '- / sig -' + '->\r\n \r\n\r\n \r\n\r\n \r\n\r\n \r\n\r\n <!-' + '- message, attachments, sig -' + '->\r\n\r\n \r\n God is the basis of life, life is the basis of energy, energy is the basis of matter.... It can also cause stomach issues like ibuprofen does. The thing is ibuprofen does not work for lots of different pains or you just have to keep taking it forever which is not good either. I took probably 800mg of ibuprofen a day for 3 months and barely got nowhere. With voltaren, in two weeks the pain was gone. 5 months later I have used only about 6 pills. \n \nMany people died from using vioxx. Studies indicated that if you took it for over 1.5 years thats when the risk went high and people got into trouble. They should never have taken off of the market in my opinion but saved it for certain types of uses. For instance I had a patient with debilitating arthritic pain where other meds did not help. When vioxx came out she became pain free on 12.5mg every other day. That was, half a dose of the usual 25mg tablet every other day. She spent the last 3 years of her life pain free. Some people took 25 to 50mg daily, sometimes more. \n \nIts a difficult call when contending with pain... especially if you don\'t want to use narcotics which have their own downfalls. \n \nThe pain of pelvic congestion is unrelenting in many women and severely affects the quality of life. Daflon used with the mediciation seems to have helped keep the inflammation and pain from returning \n \nNaproxen, what is recommended in the article as a substitue, will eat a hole in your gut pretty quickly especially for the elderly. \r\n | \r\n

Please Help - Progressive Lower Abdominal Pain
I have been suffering from lower abdominal pain for about 2 years now, & it has progressively got worse over this time.
An ultrasound scan in 2010 revealed a 1.9cm cyst on my left ovary, but was told this would go away by itself. A couple of months later, after a second scan, it did go away. Although my abdominal problems started without warning in early 2009, so are not related to the cyst.
