Hey can anyone help me with this?
I was sick for 16 months... usual story as seen on many of these forums dealing with MMS (MMS1... I only just heard of MMS2 today)... 7 different doctors over this period were of no help... various alt therapies made me feeel better for a short time, but nothing long term... yadda yadda...
I took MMS for 3 weeks, eventually getting up to 15 drops 3 times a day.
Even before I got to 15 drops, I was feeling 100% better. Better than I had in 3 years.
I was ecstatic. Too ecstatic! I started working and partying harder than I had for years... went waaaay too hard too soon and had a relapse.
Very stupid I know. I feel like an idiot, but i was just so excited to be able to LIVE again! I wanted to catch up with everything I'd missed out on for the last 16 months in 3 weeks...
So I have resumed taking the MMS, but it isn't working as quickly. And this time, I have to drop back my dosage every step of the way as the diarrhea is much worse. It's really 2 steps fwd, 1 step back (sometimes 2 back). I got up to 11 drops twice a day and then every time I took it, I threw up as soon as it hit my stomach (5 to 15 mins after taking it). So now I've backed down to 5 drops twice a day, I still have continuous diarrhea. I have improved since the relapse, but not to full health (as I initially did).
Has anyone had a similar experience? and have any advice how I should proceed from here?
please feel free to email me direct <LINK REMOVED>
I would go to Jim's page and read up on the new protocol for taking mms1. Instead of large doses 3 x day it is now smaller doses more frequently. Start with 3 drops if you can every 1 to 2 hours. He gives explaination as to why he thinks this is better.
also, those other alternative therapies that you did that made you feel better for a while, try to include some of that into your daily regimen. I don't know what "partying" means for you but you cannot abuse your body and not expect to pay. If you felt better after mms1 then got sick again after partying I would say that you were not yet well, had not yet regenerated your system. There is a lot more to healing than just getting rid of pathogens. You need to restore and rebuild.

Thanks for the reply... I've been using MMS at a low dose every hour and a half (mostly... it's a hard schedule to keep up).
I'm not getting any worse, and I'm not feeling nauseous, but I haven't noticed any improvement to my health as yet.
Below is some correspondence I've recieved on this topic direct to my email:
Here's what one fella wrote to my question
Yes I took MMS two years ago and it seemed to get my ulcerative colitis into remission and that lasted for over a year but then I started to get symptoms again though not as bad and I tried it again
This time it made me very sick for a week I lost weight and it didn't help. I had been taking a bit of iodine for about 9 months by then and I had an idea to instead use a gram a day of iodide as an immune booster instead trying to wipe out the baddies with MMS. That got me into remission again and I've now been ok for a year again. I've also been rebuilding the bowel flora with probiotics because I'm sure MMS killed of a lot of it if not all.
I no longer think MMS is a good thing to use. I got banned for saying that on the MMS forum. I think there are better things and iodine or iodide along with diet and healthy living in other ways are the best way.
MMS is an unnatural man made chemical. That's my view I may be wrong but I researched it a great deal and supported others on the MMS forum for a year, so I know something about it.
I wish you good health.
Its just an oxidizer Bendello, actually not as harsh as ozone. Your body is well equipped to handle oxidants, after all, o2 is everywhere.
Too much iodine or not enough could cause changes with the thyroid. Keep an eye out for that.
Besides all of that, its nice to still have some choices and beliefs.
I find it interesting that mms did not work for you the second time around. I am not sure what that means biologically as I do not see how a microbe could buid a resisitance to it.
On the other hand ulcerative colitis is believed by conventional medicine to have an autoimmune causation so perhaps something with that is us that mms cannot address. We have one member here on the fourm who has done very well with mms for chrons disease but he also treats himself with low dose naltrexone to keep the autoimmune system quiet and steady.
Iodine has the potential to affect autoimmune functions more profoundly than mms, aside from killing pathogens... so you may want to consider that your autoimmune system is disturbed and causing problems... I am not sure on this, just trying to look at it from a different angle.
for the vast majority of people, they can take farily high dosages of lugols iodine without any thyroid issues. But do get your thyroid checked periodically, and if you are doing quite high dosages I would say at least every 2 or 3 months after an initial check after 6 weeks. You need to prove to yourself that you can tolerate the high dosages.
Thanks everyone for your responses, I have been taking MMS on small doses (4 or 5 drops depending on diarehha) for 7days very consistiently and it is maintaing me at a functional level (i.e. I'm not bed-ridden, as I have been so often in the past year), however, it hasn't fully wiped out the virus (as it did the first time I took it) either.
I will continue taking it for another 4 or 5 days, after that, I will have to start looking for other options.
There is also a lot of testimonials on the net for Hydrogen Peroxide... another substance I would never have contemplated ingesting... but if MMS doesn't work, I will give my body some time of not pumping weird shit into it, and then start again!
also there is a product/supplement called Seaquest made out of white fish that is suppose to be very beneficial for restoring the mucosa of the gut. It comes highly recommended by a number of naturopaths for such disorders.
