Question EDTA - Oral Chelation!

Has anyone tried any products for Oral Chelation or know of anyone who has used them?
I received a mailout from Health Resources about their "Enhanced Oral Chelation" capsules
and ordered some. I know that Intravenous Chelation does work but the cost of that
is too costly for me, plus my Ins Co would never cover it as I doubt my Allopathic Dr
knows anything about Chelation of any kind.
I also got a mailout from a Co. called Miracle Breakthrough Labs but I've never heard of them. Their product is called Advanced EDTA Mega Plus.

Thanks for any comments!

I am a chemist, I am not sure, the only thing I can tell you is EDTA chelates anything that is in a +2 oxidation state or higher. If you take it, take it on an empty stomach with distilled water. If you take it with food, you might "pre-chelate" the EDTA molecules.

I wouldn't spend my time with those kind of products. Look into Dr Raths work. Find links here: https://www.healthsalon.org/456/lysine-proline-and-vitamin-c-for-arteriosclerosis/

The only thing I would add is cayenne to the protocols or niacin.

Cool EDTA

Thanks for the tip, Saved. I'll be sure to take it on an empty stomach.
Arrowwind, I'll check out the sites you've given.

another thing I would suggest is getting a caratid sonogram to see what your needs are. Most insursance will cover it and it is noninvasive.

I have been taking EDTA for about a year and I would not want to be without it. My numbers are great now and I am 73. I do not take any prescriptions. I tried to stop taking it and the results were not good. I feel better more energy etc. I would highly recommend it. I take the product from True health but have tried Health Resourses but theirs you have to take 2 times a day and the other product only once. It worked better for my schedule.

I am wondering what you all are doing this chelation for. What is your intent? What specifically are you trying to clear out?

Hi Sandra. Welcome aboard. Always glad to have other personal health experiences.

I have taken edta in a formula, called Cardio Chelate. I use it for circulation and heart health. https://www.iherb.com/MRM-Cardio-Chel...Caps/4665?at=0

It does require 1 cap 3 times per day; but it is fairly inexpensive. It also contains a few other substances that help the cardio function. I personally would not take EDTA for more than a month, and maybe twice a year. I don't have anything to justify that statement, except my own psychology. I feel that I am already deficient in some minerals. I also don't want it to interfere with my colloidal silver. So, it is just my own precaution.

Why are you taking your EDTA?

Remember to supplement with minerals. If you take a multivitamin, the minerals in it are probably sufficient. EDTA works very well. That's why you need mineral supplementation. Take them at separate times of the day.

Default edta

This product I take comes with mineral supplements. To be taken daily - edta should be taken on an empty stomach (the instructions are very clear) I also take Juice Plus.

Like I said it works for me and I have the numbers to prove it. This product may not be for everyone but I think it is worth checking out.

I originally started taking EDTA because of my numbers and my one ankle was swelling. At first I did not feel any different but after about 3 months my ankle stopped swelling and when I went for my yearly checkup my numbers were better. Well I thought good and stopped taking it only to find out that my BP went up and my ankle started swelling again. It did not take me long to purchase more.

Well, there are a lot of numbers out there. Do you mean your blood pressure and your cholesterol levels?

Yes - sorry I should have clarified - I am also taking calcium and a good multi. but in my mind the EDTA was the final product needed to achieve my good health. Just taking EDTA would not be recommended w/o minerals etc.

So Sandra, your blood pressure was helped by EDTA? That's good to know. Maybe I should be more consistent with taking this.

After doing a little research, I see that EDTA is widely used to dissolve scale. I can now see why it would improve blood pressure. Maybe scale buildup is causing your swelling too. Seems like I should do more research into the benefits of EDTA.

Mine is from the Artery Health Institute and the directions say to take it with a meal, so I do.
