Default UK WHEY PROTEIN ISOLATE HELP

Can anyone in the UK give me a little assistance please, I am just reaching the end of a large Tin of Holland & Barrats "Soya Protein Isolate Powder" and rather than just buying another tin I wondered if anyone had found a "Whey" protein isolate powder in the UK that was easily available? I'm not entirely sure what the difference is between Soya and Whey protein isolate, but I would like to give it a try if I can locate some. My experience so far with the H&B Soya Pro iso is that its very good in both the Porridge on the recipe pages of the forum and the Cheddar Cheese Bread in the Atkins diet book.

You'll find it easily in any store which sells stuff for bodybuilders.

Many thanks indeed for the prompt reply, however I was going to say somthing like "well that might be the case in Poland" but then I realised that the places I have been looking are Health Food stores, and I have never bothered to look in a Sports Goods Shop, there is one in the town and I will see if they do anything, or are there actual "bodybuilding" shops?? our local Health food Store does actually do a couple of Bodybuilding Isolate Powders but these ones are very high in Carbs as well as being Strawberry or Banana Flavoured, so not very good for makeing Porridge with or baking.

If I were you, I'd ask at the gym - our fitness clubs sell some, and certainly they know where the stores are. Here there are special stores (nothing to do with Health Stores - those want everything natural and organic...) which sell all sorts of supplements for bodybuilders, from L-carnitnine to all kinds of powders, including whey protein in a few varieties. If it's available here, it MUST be available in the UK!

Well now Bluehex, someone once said "somtimes I feel the need to go to the Gym and excercise, but I sit down and wait for it to pass" Im afraid I dont go near Gyms, I like a good walk though, and meeting people, but stay well away from Gyms, but to be serious your quite right, I guess there are specialist shops somwhere, but certainly not in our small town, but Im off to check out the Sports shop this morning. Your comments about Health Food Stores is quite correct and I do find that they look a little "sniffily" at you when you ask about Isolate powders,
Steve
