Squirrel Watch
Thanks Matrix! That's the window in my computer room, and I try to have the camera nearby since getting the new kitten. He was watching the squirrel for awhile, then the squirrel picked up a small pinecone or something, and started to eat it for our amusement.Posted 03-18-2012 at 05:27 PM by kind2creatures -

Coyote Watching Me
In Cleveland (and greater area) there is the metroparks system. A very very large system of interconnected parks, wildlife refuges etc. Some official in the 90s had the bright idea of introducing coyotes to take care of the overpopulation of deer. It appeared that coyotes prefere domesticated animals much more than deer.Posted 01-28-2012 at 04:07 AM by saved1986 -
Coyote Watching Me
They usually will try to avoid humans, but in areas near the city like where I live, there have been attacks on small children and family pets. They always seem to be looking for food, and especially dangerous when with pups. I don't turn my back on them, and if there's more than one together, I try to keep a safe distance...but they can run very fast, I think over 30mph if they desire.Posted 01-06-2012 at 09:00 AM by kind2creatures -

Springtime
That was an older picture, she was only around 2 years old. The breed is the German Standard Schnauzer. They have a pepper and salt colored coat and it's common to leave their beards and eyebrows long, which makes them look old and wise.Posted 05-01-2011 at 09:56 PM by kind2creatures
