For lung cancer the treatments can be pretty bad and there are documented cases of people reversing the disease with carrot juice (tons of it), increasing selenium intake, fish oil in high doses. More than likely; cj\'s recommendations to his family member will not cure the disease, but will definitely prolong a useful life. I have seen macrobiotic patients close to death who 6 months later looke fantastic and the macro stats show a 3X life lengthining compared to the docs prognosis.\r\n

\r\n \r\n you should read Politics in healing by Daniel Haley. Ive already lost one grandmother to lung cancer and my other one has it now. Sadly she is already doing chemo but its her choice. The grandmother ive already lost did have her cancer cured but the treatment killed her heart and thats what ended up killing her. Hardly a cure if you ask me. I find it sad that medicine is really just about money. Cancer has been cured and done many times and I truly believe the FDA is about as evil as they come. Read the book if you need Documented cases. There is even case #s from trials that can be looked up and read. The book is out of print but can be found used on amazon. Its not cheap at around 50 bucks but worth it. In this book I discovered DMSO and ive now helped my dog who is 15 and could hardly walk due to bad hips. She can now go up and down stairs something she hasnt done in a year.\r\n
