We are supposed to generate vitamin D on the surface of our skin given uvb exposure through the day and melatonin from the pineal gland through the night. I never knew anyone who did natural therapies until I went to an Alternative Cancer Seminar in Hollywood. There were testimony after testimony of people\'s cancers being cured 20 years and more ago. It made me cry actually. I use to live in Whitelake, Michigan. There was a lot of chemical pollution in our lakes by Dow chemical. My family underwent a mercury evaluation by the health department when I was very young. Apparently the only thing off in any of us was my dad had DDT.

\nMelatonin. Interesting how often I\'ve heard that sleep is so important for health. Melatonin is one of the reasons. I now put a black cloth over my eyes to help create complete darkness while I sleep. \nI lived in San Deigo in the 70\'s and worked in an alternative health clinic. I met a number of people who cured their cancer with alternative medicine.. but it seemed the cure was a bit different for everyone. I met Virginia Livingston https://www.rense.com/general72/cancer.htm but was way to young, uneducated and niave on the whole alterntive therapy issues to make that introduction truly worth while. Her theories follow those of Rifes in some respects. I did meet a woman who was under her care for breast cancer as we traveled together to see a healer in Mexico, and she was using her therapy. She was doing well with regression of tumors but did die from breast cancer some years later. San Deigo was a real mecca for the alternative cancer movement at the time and it really opened my eyes.
