I wonder if your wife took quercitin, if it would help the baby. I know quercitin (a supplement found at most health food stores) usually helps with allergies once you get it into your system and keep it in....might be worth a try. Other then that, take away the common food allergens from her and your wife and see if that helps.... milk, eggs, corn, wheat, and peanuts..... might try finding a detergent that is allergen free... I use all free and clear.... use baking soda to bath them in and to wash baby\'s hair. or if you can find raw goats milk soap... seemed to work well for us... we used a tea tree oil one, from one of the farms on houston raw. My daughter is allergic to perfumes and the other smelly good stuff... air fresheners and some candles and things like that... might be worth a try not to use any of that for awhile and see if it helps... take away as much of this stuff as you can at first and see if she clears up.... then after a few three four weeks, try adding one of the items back and see what happens.... if she reacts take that item back away, and then wait for a week, and try adding a different item... and so on down the line until you hopefully find some answers...\r\n \r\n <!-' + '- / message -' + '->\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\n \r\n \r\n\r\n \r\n <!-' + '- sig -' + '->\r\n \r\n __________________ \r\n <!-' + '- / sig -' + '->\r\n \r\n\r\n \r\n\r\n \r\n\r\n \r\n\r\n <!-' + '- message, attachments, sig -' + '->\r\n\r\n \r\n God is and all is well \r\n~John Greenleaf Whittier~\r\n | \r\n

Baby and Toddler Allergies
Our 5 month old baby girl gets really stuffed up. And she rubs her eyes alot.
We suction her nose out with saline and a bulb syringe. But is there anything you can do to help with the allergies? I buy only local raw honey...but that doesn't seem to do anything. Well, the baby doesn't even eat honey yet, so it makes no difference to her. My 4 yr old boy gets allergies to. My wife only breastfeeds her and I give her a drop of 400 UI vitamin D3 everyday. My wife has the feeling that she's going to have bad allergies and maybe asthma like she had. |
