My daughter was following the vaccination program of 8 vaccines at 2 months, 8 more at 4 months......then I accepted 4 vaccines for myself at the same time because my pediatrition said it would PROTECT my daughter. I was soooooo sick in bed for two weeks and have never really bounced back.

\nI stopped vaccinating my daughter immediately and did over 100 hours of research on vaccines which lead me to understand that vaccines are horrible. When I tried to switch doctors noone would take my daughter unless she would continue to be vaccinated.

\nIt was a blessing in disguise. I now have learned about the immune system and have created for my daughter a home that is not dependant on drugs or the mainstream medical system.

\nI too took a vaccine, the measles, as an adult and it made me sick too. Caused arthritis that I still deal with today, although granted I have found ways to keep it under control without drugs so I am not bothered too much by it these days... but for a while it was pretty dam scary, hardly being able to walk and all\r\n

\r\n \r\n Most people believe vaccines are mandatory for schools and for now I guess some doctor offices can get away with it but most states have an opt out program based on either religious, philosophical or medical reasons for school entrance. It\'s a waiver and people aren\'t told about it. A friend was saying the school had a banner that said, "No vaccines, No school." That is crazy.

\nThere are naturopaths to choose from. We went to one but weren\'t impressed so we\'ll keep looking. For now, we love our hematologist who\'s serving as a pediatrition. I don\'t need a pediatrition to weigh my baby or measure her to tell me how she compares to her peers. That\'s what they do during well baby visits then they "grab and jab \'em while they\'ve got \'em."\r\n
