Although this is bad news, the good news its that now you can make in your own home Lipsomal Vitamin C. that IS AS EFFECTIVE AS IV VITAMIN C and for a tiny fraction of the cost.... although this is good it will not be helpful to those who are too weak to swallow, as in that recent case from New Zealand where the guy was on his death bed and the family forced though a court order to administer IV vitamin C. He is well and alive today.
If you have interest in having access to vitamin c at this powerful level I suggest that you stock pile several bottles of crystal ascorbic acid. We may be very close to loosing all our access to vitamins.
