If you have time, please read more about this as most is basic science from high school depending on your age.
T Cell and Natural Killer Cells Both types contain granules filled with poten chemicals. Both types kill on contact. They bind their targets, aim their weapons, and deliver bursts of lethal chemicals. The father of oncology knew this and is why he had such success with cancer until the Rockefeller gave $2000 to study drug based medicine in 1910. Truly an interesting story as the original Rockefeller made his money to buy Standard Oil through selling cancer cures made of chemicals that never worked. He was an embarrassment to the family.
Certainly each and every person who has success with nutrition is in some way are building the immune system.
Next, everyone knows that diseases like MS, arthritis and diabetes are auto immune. It is the body not recognizing the foreign item in the body and attacking itself. If arthritis - the body is attacking the joints, and so on.
If the body is able to recognize what should not be there, be it cancer or a cold, with a healthy immune system it will attack.
I will try to find the most recent research but cancer cells are damaged cells in the body from many causes. Even the research on the maitake mushroom shows the effect on the body is increased immune function - ie a build up of natural killer cells (immune system).
I wondered how hydrogen peroxide could battle cancer but it kills bacteria and the most recent research on the supplements I take show with enough mannose in the body, bacteria cannot attach to the cell walls. I will study more about hydrogen peroxide too as I love learning.
Yes, mannose comes from probably many sources but one of the best is aloe vera. The problem is the aloe vera plant has good and bad parts. The inside and one layer of the leaf are packed with it - also it will only stay active for a certain amount of time unless stabilized. Thus many alo vera products loose their effectiveness because they are not stabilized. Only one company I know has the patent on stabilizing aloe vera.
Even if you ordered maitake products, it will come in a dark bottle with eye dropper and wrapped. They do this to help the product stay active.
Green tea is another product that can be a very good antioxident unless it is not stabilized - then it becomes an oxident.
Just some things I have been learning.
