The pain for me is better due to my life style changes....Candida diet.

It is hard staying on the diet......but I hate the pain.

I sat on the fence about what my next step was going to be. More antibiotics to fight bacteria?.....If you feel like crap it has to be bacteria!

Or....Fight it by taking away everything that made the pain worse. And feeding my body massive amount of nutrients, so that it might overwhelm what ever I have.

Even I will be cured said that he felt better after he added allimax to his protocol.......natural garlic.

If you have bad pain.....please try the diet for two weeks. You can still try the other things while you diet.

Harry in another post you said you had a bad reaction to Bactrim. Bactrim causes yeast infections to go wild.....from what I have read it makes yeast and fungus infections pop up to the extreme.

The 3 things that about kill me. Are tomatoes , BBQ, caffeine
Tomatoes are in everything from chilli, pizza, ketchup. even pizza and ketchup makes it worse. fried greasy foods make me feel like crap as well.
I had a family member who had 3 left over vicodin from a prescription he had. within about an hour of taking it, the pain just started melting away, anal pain was cut in half and i felt more relaxed. lasted for about 8 hrs then pain came right back. I've taken a lot of garlic pills and allimax they never worked for me. as far as bactrim ive always been allergic to it even as a kid. The worst pain is the anal pain, it feels like someone ripping my a$$hole apart from the inside.

I have this for 3 months already. Symptoms seem to come and go.
Recentlty been on 4 weeks of Trimethoprim 200mg }2 day, brocoli broth, bromelain 600mg and magnetic resonance therapy. Seems to me that this combination {has a positivive efffect as symptoms are relieving.
Currently i feel greatly improved, but still feel a little discomfort in front.
Drugs like Cipro made me feel very bad - so Trimethoprim is better solution for me.

I hope i will boost my imunity system with brocoli and vitamins and symptoms gradually go away. Then i go check if i still have bacteria in semen culture.{ i did have enterococus and klebsiela in semen]. Once eradicated with Trim and Augmentin, imunity shall improve and symptoms i believe will dissapear. After its all over i will celebrate with *edit*.

How of you have tested positive for anything all m cultures, test have come back normal

i hope that a trim therapy of 4 weeks (high dose 400mg) and then 1 - 2 months suppresive therapy (low dose of 200mg) shall reap positive results and cure me totally. I am starting my suppresive period now.
Trim shall definitely kills my klebsiela, so if enterococus faecalis persists, it shall be eliminated it with ampicilin (Augmentin) as it is sensitive. If it still persists and pisses me off, i shall annihilate it with something more drastic or with long term suppresive therapy. These fluorochorines are real danger, with life threatening effects, but i keep them as really very last resort. (especially nofroflaxin).

My view is this - you pump your body with Trim long enough to suppres infection. 2 months. You add high doses of high quality enzymes, brocoli 500mg per day (morning - evening), quercetin, garlic (allicin max 300mg).
On top of it all to suppres acute pain - the best is magnetic resonance therapy - I bought this special gadget with different low and high frequencys and applying it to front and back and scrotum. Seems to work quite well. (3 days of usage).

+ try phage therapy and nosode therapy (done in Germany) for prostatitis (funny it ends with "titis"), i live quite close to this country, so its my other hope too. *edit* All bacteria shall be annihilated by whatever means available.

And one more thing - if a doctor or urologist refuses to test you for culture, well pay for the procedure yourself and the clinic will perform whatever culture you want. (semen analysis, urine, PSA or whatever). I paid all my cultures by myself (not very expensive in Europe).
Its your health, so dont expect to quarell with a urologist if he is unwilling to do something u want. As far as prescription is concerned, it is sometimes better to have a doctor among your relatives and they can prescribe everything to you as far as you proove its necessary and have the tests results to proove it.

Dont give up hope, as this is a tough but managable and curable condition (lets not call it a desease please, its just inflamation).

Thats what I have been thinking.. if I ever get cured of this. I'm going out and shagging the hell out of a girl. and I'm gonna hit it like a convict who has been locked away and ain't had none for 20 years.... Man this stuff is such bullsh*t. I can't believe that the medical community can't do a better job of dealing with this. I once read about a man who was in a wheel chair because of prostatitis, he could not walk at all that is how severe he was. and the doctors wouldn't do sh*t for him.

I once had some luck with trim for 6 weeks. still had a lot of the symptoms but a lot of the anal pain was gone.
but once I cam off of the drug within 4 or 5 days everything was back like it was. Im taking the trim again myself and so far it is not working this time around for me at all. but ive only been on it like 11 or 12 days right now.

Ibewillcured or someone recommended like 4 - 6 months of the trim I think. that was my biggest mistake of all was if something was working and i stopped taking it. and tried it again at a later date it would never work again.....

at one point i was on cephalexin and I started getting huge erections and full orgasm filling was back.
I never had drug work that good. but once i stopped it everything went back like it was tried the same drug again later and it no longer worked.....

I do not think Ampicillin is an abx that can enter the prostate in sufficient enough concentrations to eliminate bacteria.
I did a quick search for Norfloxacin, it is a first generation quinolone so probably not too effective anymore. From what I know one of the latest and strongest quinolones is Moxifloxacin (3rd or 4th generation) that goes usually by the brand name avelox. This is strong stuff used as a last resort

To me it sounds more like a quinolone side effect. I read some stories like that. Some poor guy suffers from prostatitis, he does not know he is allergic to quinolones, he takes a couple of cipro pills and ends up in a wheelchair.

Anyway, on the positive note I am seeing great results with stretches, conscious relaxation of the muscles and deep meditation. I meditate at least 45 minutes each day, stretch for another 45 minutes (sometimes I even do two rounds per day if I have time), listen to relaxing music whenever at home and I try to consciously relax my pelvic floor no matter what I do (walking, sitting, driving my motorbike etc). For me I hope this is the last part of therapy and completely necessary as it accelerates healing. I have also experienced during the stretches or meditation all those symptoms (fasciculations, tingling, twitching) that I read on the chronicprostatitis site and Iwillbecured mentioned in this thread that are a good sign and indicate healing.

you may be right. I don't have any clue though. The guy just set the prostatitis was so bad he is in a wheel chair. I don't remember what antibiotics he took.

To all I had one crazy F'd yup night last night. I'm not sure if this was the trim having an affect on the prostatitis or what the hell was going on. I always have night sweats. but last night I felt like a furnace. had to have a pretty big fever going on. so I took all my clothes off and turned my big ass fan on high no covers and was still sweating buckets, eyes rolled back of my head , moaning. I even ended up in the shower with that sh*t on cold. And then after a freezing cold shower it came back like it was took some ibuprofen and slept butt naked with a fan on high and woke up with body temperature back normal. and you know when you have fever you have crazy dreams.....

I had dreams about spirits of dead Indians talking to me. And I buried a war chief in a garden. I remember having some fever way back and I dreamed about a war chief and Indians to.. And the war chief in my dream told me the first time I was taking the trim. He told me to take trim and it would kill spirits in prostate or some crap....

I should add this warning taken from research

" Resistance to moxifloxacin and other fluoroquinolones may evolve rapidly, even during a course of treatment. Numerous pathogens, including Staphylococcus aureus, enterococci, and Streptococcus pyogenes now exhibit resistance worldwide.[100] Widespread veterinary usage of the fluoroquinolones, in particular in Europe, has been implicated.[101]"



It seems that treatment should always be done on the bases of proven sensitivity to specific culture (semen, urine). Thus one should question whether to use a strong atb for which there is no evidence for sensitivity to a particular strain of bacteria and thus may even bring resistance.

Always do culture tests first and then on the basis of specific sensitivity of given pathogens in the body apply a specific atb.

I will just give a qiuck update on things I have been doing some serious stretching.It has been a week since I started.I have seen a little improvement.
I have also changed my diet and see what happens.

well after 18 months of this. I have to be honest with myself this thing is never going away no matter how many antibiotics I take. I have ran through them all and any that once worked a tad no longer work. I have accepted my fate and have decided to try to find me a urologist to just remove my prostate and be done with it altogether. not like I can have kids anyway, I have been Sterile for years from past ecoli bladder infections.

Have you tried taking probiotics?

I refuse to accept this as my fate.....Im not convinced this is my prostate....I have been feeling better but nowhere near cured

Im doing my stretching trying to do the no yeast diet and learning the relaxing the pelvic
