There is a chain of stores called Vitamin Cottage. I think they origininated in Colorado. I don't know how widely disbursed they are throughout the US. They have a store in Albuquerque. There are good prices on many items, and they frequently put items on sale. They have some fresh organic produce, dairy items, and a lot of bulk packed dry goods. They have a few meat and frozen food items. They have a mix of conventionally grown and organic grocery items. They predominantly specialize in vitamins, supplements, and herbs. Although they don't have the wide range of items Whole Paycheck carries, I have switched to shopping at the Vitamin Cottage because I can stretch my dollars a lot farther at this store.
I go to my local Vitamin Cottage (Natural Grocers) very often, they're only a few blocks from me and it's very convenient. Here's their site which shows the store locations, and if I'm not mistaken you can shop online from there and have their items shipped. Having said that, if you are going to shop online, there are many places with lower prices I'm sure. https://www.naturalgrocers.com/

Info about how many of the olive oils on the supermarket shelf are adulterated with lesser quality oils like canola (rapeseed) and soybean, thus the EVOO is not pure. Happily my brand from Costco (Kirkland) is on the good list of brands. Read the full article and check out the brands that failed. https://www.naturalnews.com/035124_ol...ed_canola.html
I'll have to try the costco brand one. Amazed how many great products are sold at costco
There are a lot of good things at reasonable prices if you sort through the junk there. I also get stuff like the organic golden flax seeds, the organic carrot juice, organic whole wheat spagetti, organic canned tomato sauce, organic baby spinach, plain greek yogurt, etc.

I get their almonds as they seem to be the best price and also I really like their green tea, greek yogurt and blueberries. I was getting organic flax seeds there, but it was cheaper getting the same ones from amazon with super saver

We just use evoo instead of butter or margarine, you get used to not having the butter or marg after a while, the one we use is not contaminated with other oils either.
I have the garlick oil one and the lemon oil one, for variation.
