ok first i have a question about vitamins that come in capsules,or whatever supplement coming in a capsule...now on this forum we talk about natural,i try to keep it natural, and i cant help but feel that taking 5-10 pils a day is Not natural, but anyway to my question: the supplements that are in a capsule, wouldnt it be better to open the capsule and take whatever is inside mixed with water or in some other way,i mean those capsules going in my body the body will have to deal with them in some way,and the capsules i think are anything but natural,so gimme an opinion,or a fact on this one??
And arrowwind i remember once you mentioned that i could make my own vitamin C,it would be better than any i could buy bcuz i would put in it exactly what i need and as much as i need, and i hope it would end up beeing gracious on my pocket too :P so how do i do it? ingredients, procedure???
Here are to sites that will show you how to make lipsomal vitamin c. You should be able to purchase all the ingredients from www.iherb.com
Taking vitamin c this way is much more effective at high dosages and you won't get diarrhea from it. It will also eliminate the concerns about capsules.
try this one. there are several sites that tell how to do it.. just search making lipsomal vitamin c. I haven't compared them all, just prefering sardi's site
I was trying to get you on bill sardi's site but cant say what went wrong
Id follow the guy in the video
I agree about taking 5 to 10 pills a day feeling not natural. When ever I read about the oldest living person and what they ate or drink or what they did, I've yet to hear them say I took this vitamin or pill everyday. But I think things like vitamin D that we used to get from the sun we aren't getting like we used to and unless you have a diet that's high in vitamin D, then I think you should probably supplement it. I try as much as possible to eat better instead of taking a dozen pills.
I personally take Vitamin C everyday, but it's to help with allergies. I'm not sure about taking regular vitamin C or making Vitamin C as it's water soluble and doesn't stay in your system very long. For me the only thing that makes sense is time released vitamin C in the morning. At night I've noticed it's effected my sleeping slightly and I've tried up to 4,000mg of vitamin C and I've noticed 1,000 mg time released works better as an antihistamine. Makes sense that it's water soluble and out of your system pretty quick that you need time release.
I went to my naturall shop and they have 3 differend kinds of soy lecithin...all 3 are NON GMO and Organic...
but i didnt buy any bcuz for example on one of them it said 100% soy lecithin and on another one it was 50% soy lecithin and the rest something else i dont remember what...
so which one should i get? the 100% soy lecithin or the 50% soy l + 50% something...
I would choose the soy lecithin as long as its not GMO. Hard for me to be for the other as I don't really know what it is...
Soy lecithin has a long and good history.
and Its what is used to make most lipsomal vitamin C.
Are you going to make your own?
Yes arroww i will be making my own one of this days,im just getting the first ingredient today, the soy lecithin...
ok so im gonna go now buy the 100% Non GMO, Organic one...be back in a bit and i will post a link (if i find one) so you can see which brand/kind i bought...
That lecithin looks fine. I can read a little spanish... enough to keep me in trouble. Put it in the fridge after opening and dont keep it forever. try to use it... it can go bad. I have put it in smoothies.
Ascorbic acid is ascorbic acid. Look at NOW products at iherb or what ever is a good price. Stay with a good company... NOW, TWIN labs, Jarrow, Solgar.. and you probably got good ones over there too.
