It took a longer time for me to lose ten pounds, with my exercise of choice being brisk walking. I still eat fatty and sugary foods like ice-cream and cake, but do so in moderation. I\'m happy if I stay within the normal range of the BMI (body mass index).\r\n \r\n <!-' + '- / message -' + '->\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\n \r\n \r\n\r\n \r\n\r\n <!-' + '- sig -' + '->\r\n \r\n __________________ \r\n <!-' + '- / sig -' + '->\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\n \r\n\r\n \r\n\r\n \r\n\r\n <!-' + '- message, attachments, sig -' + '->\r\n\r\n \r\n "We can judge the heart of a man by his treatment of animals." ~Immanual Kant~ \r\n \r\n\r\n | \r\n

Provided I didn\'t go mad I could eat what I wanted providing it wasn\'t going to raise blood glucose levels high or fast. \n \nI started at 205 lbs and lost 2lb each week for 25 weeks without any problems and without any extra exercise or energy expenditure. \nWhile I have been a bit more generous with the red wine intake I haven\'t regained any significant amount of weight and while I can still fit in 34 as opposed to 44inch trousers I\'m happy with this regime. I\'m not against the use of exercise to work up a healthy appetite or build strength or stamina but I think anyone who regards exercise as a weight loss strategy has seriously misunderstood how the human body regulates weight loss. \nRemember human DNA evolved BEFORE the introduction of farming. \nWhy Low Carbohydrate Diets Work \nAnyone who suggests a low carbohydrate diet is unhealthy clearly needs to understand the evolutionary process. \n \nDo bear in mind the adverts that google insert below this post are not endorsed by me. Xenadrine, Hoodia and Kellog\'s Special K took absolutely no part in my weight loss strategy and are all a money making scam to keep you hooked on unhealthy and unnatural eating habits. We evolved eating whole foods not refined carbs. The recent increase in obesity has occurred over the last 50yrs along with an increase in refined carbohydrate, omega 6 and total sugar intake and alcohol intake. The key to weight loss is understanding we need to address the pro inflammatory nature of modern foods and eat less inflammatory foods while improving our anti inflammatory status with more vitamin D, OMEGA 3 and magnesium.\r\n | \r\n
