I've used this brand of conditioner before and was happy with it, never used the gel, but here it is. https://www.vitacost.com/Giovanni-L-A...el-Strong-Hold

i read online that you can make your own at home, here's a recipe using flax seeds. Flax seeds produce a gel when cooked, antioxidants protect the hair, hold in moisture and add shine.

1/4 cup flax seeds
1 cup water

Mix seeds & water in small pot, bring to a boil tirring constantly. Then turn down heat and simmer on low for around 10 minutes. Stir to make sure seeds don't stick to bottom.

Then, continue to cook until the gel is as thick as you like. Let it cool, and strain through a cheese cloth (or pantyhose) to remove seeds.

Optional: add essential oil for scent

Aloe vera gel can ge added for extra moisture

Keep mixture refrigerated, as there are no preservatives

Wow that sounds ace, I might just give that a try later.

Great advice, thanks :-)
