Default Shocking decline of oceans

BBC Environmental News:
The oceans are in a worse state than previously suspected according to an expert panel of scientists.
In a new report, they warn that ocean life is "at high risk of entering a phase of extinction of marine species unprecendented in human history."
They conclude that issues such as over-fishing, pollution and climate change are acting together in ways that have not previously been recognised.
The impacts, they say, are already affecting humanity

And the dumping of rubbish , uranium, oil, and effluent, most likely is adding to the decline.

It's so sad humans are so intelligent, our computer/digital inventions continue to improve and move forward...yet we as a people are not smart enough to respect and protect the integrity of all the natural things like air, water and plantlife. These are nature's 'inventions' that cannot be replaced when ultimately destroyed. https://www.lehmanmac.com/?p=191

It seems that the warming of the oceans or general global warming, would help to distill the ocean waters, make clouds, and provide more rainfall or snow. A natural desalination. So more fresh water.

The filth? I don't know what we can do with the filth. Seems to me that this is an area where new jobs/careers/businesses can be made.

The sea is so vast & deep, it's hard to imagine that humans have made a negative impact on a grand scale yet.. I think the filth is contained to the area surrounding land masses at present.

El Nino is responsible for alot of the disruption & warming we have been witnessing. https://www.elnino.noaa.gov/

And Earth going through cyclical changes still hasn't been addressed fully which could explain another reason for our oceans warming.
