at first I would like to tell you that I dont feed fear because I think there will be a shocking result but I am scared because of the following story: A few months ago I had my last blood test. How they draw blood? They stick a needle into my vein... normally this should be the case. Last time they pierce my vein so the blood splashed out of my arm. Do you know what might be a good way to forget my fear? I know a blood test can help keep my helthy but I am scared that the same story could happen again... Any ideas?
I'm sorry that happened. The nurse or lab tech surely blew it. As a nurse I can assure you that this is not all that common. I have never seen it. Take courage and if you need another blood draw make sure someone else does it. The information these tests provide can be crucial at time to a good recovery or to diagnose problems.
