The Wizard of Oz was a fraudulent, old man pushing buttons and pulling levers to produce the illusion of power.
Dr. Oz is a milk toast pussy who pushes the emotional buttons of Americans to grease the pharmaceutical levers of the drug dealing machine. His consistency is unmatched. Every time the pharmaceutical industry gets a profit erection, hes at the end of it, hence the Stinky Sulfur Award.

Healthcare is a money vacuumIts estimated that by the year 2017, 1 out of every 5 dollars will be stolen from the economy under the guise of healthcare. By not confronting the many causes of our declining health, the Dr. Oz show and its illusion of health is making sure this prediction comes true.
I did have the opportunity to catch the last ten minutes of this show in a waiting room a few months back. The topic was avoiding heart attacks. While Sirracha hot sauce was listed as a preventative measure for heart disease, weight loss and exercise didn't make the list.

But I have seen Dr. Oz have various shows on diet and exercise.... So... Not sure where this is supposed to go?
From reading the article, it seems to me the blogger has only seen maybe one or two episodes and is basing it on that.
I'm not a big fan of Dr. Oz, but he does take into account the natural lifestyle, and has even said ON THE SHOW, the sometimes natural is better than big pharma, and that if we treat symptoms we get nowhere...
So... I throw a big... "Huh?" to this blogger. A plus for the effort, but an F for the research. Because anyone who has watched the show knows that this blogger is attacking something, and his morals are in the right place, but he's barking up the wrong tree...
Reason #1: Dr. Oz Warns of Phony Pandemics to Profit from Vaccine Sales
As a corporate con artist, Oz speaks of coming pandemics and outbreaks while urging parents to vaccinate kids. To protect his pro-vaccine stance, he uses idiotic oversimplifications like, the benefits of vaccines outweigh the risk. But, he doesnt vaccinate his own childrenHis real interest in vaccines stems from greed. The Security and Exchange Commission reports that he owns 150,000 shares in vaccine maker Siga Technologies.
I don't trust anyone affiliated with health and Oprah Inc, for good reason.
Quote:
I thought it was peculiar that Oprah was introducing Bob Greene as her long time friend and trainer, while allowing him to portray himself as a nutrition expert. Why wasn’t she introducing him in a factual way: “I just want to let all of you know that Bob Greene is part of Oprah, Inc. He doubles as my property manager for my 102 acre estate in Hawaii and together we have purchased a total of six other oceanfront properties nearby (one for a Bob Greene house, one for an Oprah guest house, and four to be left vacant). We have made over ten million dollars on the diet book that has resulted in my dieting failure. And Bob has made millions more promoting McDonalds and other junk food companies on my coattails. In fact, I’ve personally made Bob Greene a multi-millionaire many times over and I just can’t tell you how thrilled I am that I’ve gained back forty pounds while being an expert in, advocate of, and profiting from his advice.”
Quote:
McDonalds struck a PR gold mine, using Bob Greene and Oprah to get 1 billion favorable media impressions, which completely negated the effect of Super Size Me on their sales. For its part, McDonalds produced 8 million promo flyers for Bob Greene’s book. The program was a financial win-win for McDonalds and Bob Greene – but not for little children.
Quote:
WASHINGTON – Some of the richest men and women in the world met secretly recently in New York to conspire on using their vast wealth to bring the world’s population growth under control.
The meeting included some of the biggest names in the “billionaires club,” according to the London Times – Bill Gates, David Rockefeller, Ted Turner, Oprah Winfrey, Warren Buffett, George Soros and Michael Bloomberg.
I guess I know where the exercise part comes in... Bob Green was doing Oprah!
Anyway... Interesting that Dr. Oz is part of Oprah Inc..
Why is it countries have shifted to be corporations and now people are shifting to become corporations as well? Something is very wrong with that picture....
I enjoy watching Dr. Oz shows, as he many times addresses natural remedies and beneficial supplements. I first saw him introduced years ago on the Oprah show, and I think she helped him get a show of his own, same with Dr. Phil.
I don't agree with everything he says, and I understand that being a doctor, he has some obligation to promote vaccines, etc. I like the guy, and take bits and pieces of his show that appeal to me. I don't watch him all the time, but he always promotes prevention of disease and using natural medicine as opposed to prescription drugs.

Bloggers with ruffled feathers, not interested. Which doctors with TV shows in America do not promote vaccines? And is the fact that he promotes vaccines on his show make me go out and get one? No.
Which doctors with TV shows in America do not promote vaccines?
Really?
Well, I guess if a doctor doesn't have a TV show, I shouldn't
be interested in his opinion?
I do owe you an apology, though, because you're completely right about Dr Oz having to promote vaccinations if he wants to have a TV show that pays him big bucks. So, you vaccinate your child, he won't vaccinate his own, and he sells out for pieces of gold.

No, that's not what I'm saying. Like I said, his show is for entertainment value and has some tips. Dr. Oz would not have any bearing on whether I vaccinate my child or not. I wouldn't have to go to a doctor that is against vaccines either, to stick or not to stick would be my own choice...same as canola
I try to watch Dr. Oz whenever I can. He has never had a problem with telling his audience about alternative and complimentary practices. He has naturopathic doctors on occasionally too. One of his favorite and frequent ones is Andrew Weil, MD. There is another that he interviewed that he would constantly remind the audience that the doctor's opinions are controversial, but the audience needs to hear them anyway. He has nutritionists, personal trainers, Aryuvedic practitioners, chiropractors, etc. He seems to favor Aryuvedic practices. I can't tell where he is with Chinese traditional medicine.
He seems very open minded. But he does want people to have a relationship with their mainstream doctor. He is a practicing cardiologist as well. He father in law was on the show once. I forget the name, but apparently he is very popular in the cardiology world. Dr. Oz daughter is on a food show called The Chew. She is the one that promotes a vegetarian diet.
Normally I stay away from threads like this, but not today...
Doctor Oz told America that sugar is one of the main reasons people are sick. For this I comment him.
He also warned the public about arsenic in apple juice, for which he took alot of flack, and again I commend him for doing this.
He has recommended garlic, curcumin, and several other herbs and spices.
Now, keep in mind he was a heart doctor, he's been taught mainstream medical proceedures, he recommends vaccines, believes in bypass surgery, prescription drugs, etc..
What do I think of Oz? Personally I think he is doing some good in his own little way. He certainly has a connection to his viewers, and they listen to what he says. I never hear him talk about colloidal silver, or THC, however that doesn't mean he won't in the future. Also keep in mind he is being watched, and probably controlled by big pharma and the FDA so any progress toward alternative medicine is still progress.
I would suggest listening, then researching for yourself, then decide if he is right or wrong with his advice.
