Yep, those are stick blenders. and I certainly would not purchase the cheap one. the better ones vibrate more.. I can only assume that they use the sonic jewelry cleaner because it sends out many waves that break down particles.. so that these particles can encapsulate the c. Im not at all certain that a stick blender can do it as good.
Harbor Freight has a sonic jewelry cleaner on sale this week for 29.95, reduced $10 (lot #3305). It will make one pint at a time. The also have one for $74.99. reduce $10, (lot# 95563) that can hold 2.5 liter. That may be the one I go for.
I have used liposomal vitamin c to boost my immune system. I find it superior to any of the powder or tablets/capsules.
Here in New Zealand where the farmer was from we are lucky in that we have our own producer of it.
I buy mine from nzhealthstore.co.nz - it is NZLF Liposomal C.

Yep. thats what I assumed. Its been a concern to me cause truestorytotell is going to use a stick blender to make his.. he read somewhere that its an option and I think it would be worth the wait to save up your pennies and get the right equipment.
Hi Julie, welcome to the forum. Glad you are having good results with the lipsomal c.
I do think that once you get the equipment its really worth it to make your own. The small sonic jewelry clearner at harbor frieght was on sale for $30 this past month.

I am brand new here. Just wanted to say that I have recently begun making liposomal vit C with a stick blender. Of course, I do not know how it compares with that made with a jewelry cleaner, but I know it is better than the straight stuff.
I was taking vit C powder, ascorbic acid powder, to find my bowel tolerance, which I did, and which was about 6-10 grams, I think.... I did this for several days, sometimes in addition to small doses of liposomal C. The straight C never gave me a Herxheimer.
Taking a much lower dose, say around 1.2 to maybe 2 grams, of the liposomal C I had made with a stick blender did cause me to have a Herxheimer response -- twice. So, to me, that is saying that the liposomal C was getting where it needed to get, while the straight C that I was drinking mixed with water was not.

On Edit: Added to say I have CFIDS/ME, and that is why I am interested in the liposomal C and glutathione as well. Day before yesterday I took a slightly larger dose of the liposomal C, and I got so sick I took the day off yesterday. Need to make more today. Splitting headache! Plus what felt like a nasty flu ache all over -- and I have a nasty flu ache all over all the time anyway, and this one was much, much worse. That means, to me anyway, that the C is working.
So, if you already have a good stick blender, give it a try.

Reason: to add information
The stick blenders won't give off ultrasonic waves will they? If so then wouldn't a vita mix work as well?
When you buy the prepackaged liposomal vit. C there is 12% alcohol in it which won't bother some of you but I don't want it in there. Making your own would be empowering.
etm this sounds promising. I hope you get well. Please keep us updated. Can you spell out what CFID/ME is?
I think there was a typo in my post, but CFIDS/ME is chronic fatigue immune dysfunction syndrome, AKA myalgic encephalomyelitis. A nasty disease that is a helluva lot more than "fatigue."

Have you looked into MMS? Thats where Id be heading if I had that diagnosis. Essentially what they are telling you is that they have no clue what is wrong. I suspect it will be parasites of some sort. MMS takes care of most of them
let me tell you. Ths stuff doesnt taste to great. I have to put stevia in my husbands or he wont take it... he also requries a chaser of some sort as do I
Carlson's Cod liver bad? I know Carlson's doesn't have two-stroke oil in it, but so many tepid late mornings at the marina, my mind adds it in just for proper effect.
I like the taste of reseveritol, so I chase the cod liver oil with it.
