I thought my breath shortness might be a symptom of heart attack, except I did not have any other symptom. I took 1000mg of mag malate. Within 20 minutes, I was back to normal. The problem was that I was taking EDTA to see if heavy metal has something to do with my chronic sinus problem. EDTA chelates magnesium pretty heavily. I never want to go through that again. I thought I was going to have to call 911.

Thank goodness you're okay jfh! Interesting about the magnesium, I'm glad it worked. I've had heart palpitations sometimes and I use mag oil topically and take the mag citrate for relief. Anything to do with breathing or the heart is very scary to be sure.
