Thank goodness you're okay jfh! Interesting about the magnesium, I'm glad it worked. I've had heart palpitations sometimes and I use mag oil topically and take the mag citrate for relief. Anything to do with breathing or the heart is very scary to be sure.

How about you take some fresh lemon juice with your baking soda? Lemon juice has a net alkalising effect too. I must add that heartburn for me is non existent since I went on a mainly raw food and fruit/veg juice diet. I am now a strong advocate of juicing the life force out of fresh greens being more powerful than vitamin and mineral supplements. My health is in a different tier altogether now and I'm someone who has regularly been taking supplements since 2006. Have a look on youtube for dan the man.
