Our DNA is set to produce vitamin D as soon as the sun is up and so the sooner it\'s available the better, some people find it stimulates them and taking it at night keeps them awake (but I don\'t) \r\n <!-' + '- / message -' + '->\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\n \r\n \r\n\r\n \r\n\r\n \r\n\r\n \r\n\r\n \r\n\r\n <!-' + '- message, attachments, sig -' + '->\r\n\r\n \n \nL carnitine best during the day as it\'s used to increase energy. \n \nB12 is often taken once weekly so I doubt it matters. \n \nIf you respond to glucosamine (the research is 50/50 with as much saying it definitely doesn\'t work as saying it might) then the half life is 15hrs and if you\'re taking it for joint pain I\'d suggest splitting the dose and taking half morning and half later in the day so you don\'t feel so much pain at night. When you\'re laying in bed trying to sleep and have nothing to distract your mind it can dwell on the pain so IF you find Glucosamine ADDS to the anti inflammatory scenario it may be better to split the dose. \n \nMagnesium is best in SMALL amounts with food THROUGH the day and an hour before bedtime (it tends to relax people so if you\'re only taking one lot daily and you have trouble sleeping an hour before bed would do both. \n \nI\'d use a time release vitamin c and spread the intake through the day and before bed.. When you\'ve restored your vit c levels the half life can be measured in minutes so always use TR once you\'ve corrected vitamin c deficiency. \n \nHope someone else talks about the others as I don\'t know enough to be worth commenting.\r\n | \r\n

To be safe I would take it in the morning instead of at night. I used to take 1,000mg at night and I\'m not positive if it effected my sleep or not. I currently take vitamin C in the morning, but I do drink hibiscus tea every night, actually a few cups which it\'s loaded in vitamin C. Not enough I\'m sure to equal a pill, but just mentioning that I do drink the tea at night and it hasn\'t effected my sleep pattern.\r\n | \r\n

I normally take digestive enzymes prior to drinking. Should I also take a Vit C capsule too? If so can I ask what the benefits are of this with the greens?Quote: \r\n
