\nIn the past year i have noticed my skin and hair seems to be deteriorating.....

\nI am 40 years old now and have always looked very youthfull for my age, my younger brother and sister look a good few years older than me. I must have been taking my mothers side as she is 67 years old and has very little grey hair and looks about 10 years younger than she is and still fresh faced.

\nI was unemployed for a year for the first time in my life a year ago and now have a very stressfull job and maybe the stress is catching up with me worrying about the mortgage and stuff.

\nI had a great healthly head of hair and a youthfull complexion but now my hair is dry, brittle dull and lifeless and with a very dry flaky scalp, my face is also dried out on my forehead and my skin is tight.

\nUnlike my mother i have drank alcohol most of my adult life and maybe the signs are showing, i have always moisturised my skin and took vitamin suppliments but they don\'t seem to be helping anymore.
\n
\nMaybe it\'s stress and alcohol that is doing this to me?

\nAnyone recommend some vitamins or advice that could help?

\nToday i started drinking matcha green tea and i found it really delicious......not bitter like the supermarket brands i have tried and i would like to keep drinking it daily......

\nWhy don\'t you look at the 9 step osteoporois plan that I wrote. If you dont have osteoporosis dont do the mega dosaging on the horsetail. \n40 seems to the the turning point for lots of people. Catch this stuff early and you will do well. Also really consider changing your alcohol patterns. You didnt say how much you drink but if it is over two drinks a day start by reducing by one for a few months. When you get down to one drink a day reduce that to only 6 days a week, then 5 days a week etc. you can also try replacing some of that hard liquer with a red wine a couple of days a week.

\nI have a friend who is an alcoholic. She was heading for some pretty severe problems. She just cant or wont stop drinking her vodka. But she has added nutritonal supplements as you are doing and she is very careful about her diet eliminating sugars, and denatured foods, and she is going much better. Liver function improved, cholesterols improved. Creases on ear lobes reduced. Although she understands because of the alcohol she will never be perfect she feels a lot better. Alcohol is a lot of sugar so reduce it in other areas.\r\n

Hair responds to silica. Taking that will really help. The flaking scalp is almost always a scalp fungal issue but it many not be candida but a different fungus.

\nWhy don\'t you look at the 9 step osteoporois plan that I wrote. If you dont have osteoporosis dont do the mega dosaging on the horsetail. But all other things may be an issue for you and you could need supplementation in these areas. Do the maintence dose of 2 caps 3xd for a few months. Keep up with the B vitamin. Try to restore gut flora and balance.

\n40 seems to the the turning point for lots of people. Catch this stuff early and you will do well. Also really consider changing your alcohol patterns. You didnt say how much you drink but if it is over two drinks a day start by reducing by one for a few months. When you get down to one drink a day reduce that to only 6 days a week, then 5 days a week etc. you can also try replacing some of that hard liquer with a red wine a couple of days a week.

\nI have a friend who is an alcoholic. She was heading for some pretty severe problems. She just cant or wont stop drinking her vodka. But she has added nutritonal supplements as you are doing and she is very careful about her diet eliminating sugars, and denatured foods, and she is going much better. Liver function improved, cholesterols improved. Creases on ear lobes reduced. Although she understands because of the alcohol she will never be perfect she feels a lot better. Alcohol is a lot of sugar so reduce it in other areas.

If you have thrush you have candida. Thrush is candida likely or at least some kind of fungal infection.
\nflaking scalp is almost always a fungal issue.
\npsoriasis is often a fungal issue also but not always.
\nI had psoriasis and cured it with mega dosages of vitamin D3. I know of others who cured it with MMS, which did not work for me.
\n
\nAlcohol can make candida flair for some people. Candida thrives on sugar, and alcohol converts to sugar in the body.
\n
\nregardless if you have osteoporosis or not the 9 step plan is for you at a reduced dosage of the silica. Since you have candida you do have a gut issue.. so the digestive enzymes are likely called for. Silica will build your structural integrity from years of decline. It builds collegen not only in the bones but in hair, skin, etc and makes skin more elastic and hair less brittle. The vitamin D3 is essential to dealing with psoriasis. I know a number of people now who have cured their psoriasis with sufficient D3 orally and applied topically as well. I suggest that you get your vitamin D3 levels checked.

Default My skin and hair Problems....

Hi,

In the past year i have noticed my skin and hair seems to be deteriorating.....

I am 40 years old now and have always looked very youthfull for my age, my younger brother and sister look a good few years older than me. I must have been taking my mothers side as she is 67 years old and has very little grey hair and looks about 10 years younger than she is and still fresh faced.

I was unemployed for a year for the first time in my life a year ago and now have a very stressfull job and maybe the stress is catching up with me worrying about the mortgage and stuff.

I had a great healthly head of hair and a youthfull complexion but now my hair is dry, brittle dull and lifeless and with a very dry flaky scalp, my face is also dried out on my forehead and my skin is tight.

Unlike my mother i have drank alcohol most of my adult life and maybe the signs are showing, i have always moisturised my skin and took vitamin suppliments but they don't seem to be helping anymore.

Maybe it's stress and alcohol that is doing this to me?

Anyone recommend some vitamins or advice that could help?
