Not quite sure why you are asking, have you got health problems with the baby?

Not much out of range:

There is a high MONO reading which was probably due to an infection at the time and probably cleared up.

CREATININE is a bit low. Was your baby underweight at birth or preterm?. If so this would account for this.

RETICULYTES are a bit low, these are immature blood cells. The doctor will probably monitor this in future until it comes up.

RDW is at high end of range. Combined with normal MCV means probably a bit short on Vitamin B12. Again something the doctor is probably monitoring.

Thanks for your reply!

My doctor doesn't seem concerned about these blood test results at all and isn't monitoring any of the things you have said.
I'm quite concerned about my baby, he was born a week late and weighed 8lbs 8oz which was considerably larger than my first baby at 16 months before (6lbs 6oz). He seems quite pale, he had a subconjunctaval hematoma in his left eye and he had a linear parietal fracture on the left side of his skull at birth and seemed to bruise quite easily from normal handling. He's been referred to a genetesist to look for forms of metabolic bone diseases.
I have recently been diagnosed with insufficient vitamin D and no doubt would have been defecient in pregnancy, however I bottle fed my son since birth for medical reasons so he would have been getting nutrients and vitamins from his formula, thus maybe why his vitamin d levels seem within the normal range. He's a mystery, no one can figure him out and I'm worried something is up with him.

Sorry to hear that your baby is not well.

Overweight and easy bruising could point to Cushing's Syndrome, especially as this can cause bone problems but this is very rare and is just a long shot.

If your not satisfied with your present doctors lack of diagnosis, it might soothe your mind to ask for a second opinion.

I dont see anything to be concerned about in those blood tests. Perhaps the genetic testing will reveal something... hopefully not and all this is just a fluke

The first thing you need to do is to get your baby off of formula. If you cant breast feed, and you really dont know for sure until you discuss it right away with La Leche League... call them today... it may not be too late.

IF formula must continue get the advice from a naturopath. Soy is absolutley out. and I would say that goats milk is in.
