I want to say yes, but, i have been only living here for 5 years....honestly i think it is a tad bit warm for the first week of summer, and if it keeps up this way it's going to be a long one.....
Today is June 27th. We need rain badly here in N. Ky.& S. Ohio.
A week of 90's ahead for us. and no rain in sight. This isn't going to be good for our farmers.
It rained throughout June, continued raining into July, with a month's worth of rain falling early on Saturday morning, culminating with the worst flooding here in living memory...
And still no sign of summer.

You know its hos when Austin is hoping for a that new tropical storm, even if its a hurricane. Need water. Need cooling trend.
Poor Oklahoma. Raging heat with raging wildfires.
Saw about this on the BBC News the other night. Farmers facing the worst harvest in decades. Looking pretty serious. This will have a very negative impact on global food prices next year.
We've had the reverse problem here. Too much rain has negatively impacted on the wheat and potato harvests.
Its been hotter than all begeegers here, not ususal at all for this high mountain area... and the forest fires have us bogged down in smoke, buring my eyes and making life miserable.... but our little corn patch is growing just fine.

Cooler temps in the low 80's, humidity at 73%, winds out of the west at 5 mph and partly sunny. Not bad.
Although - the creek police are buzzing around right now (helicopter). I predict FLOODS in my neighborhood sometime in September. We are the ONLY subdivision that has NOT had devastating floods like the others in my Town, since 1990 (some levee was removed for a bus company). We are the homes located CLOSEST to the creek - and the new pump has been failing quite a bit. I think we are on #3 since it was first installed in March, 2012.
