Hi Just Me
Yes most of those articles are mine. I am glad you think I am a wealth of information, I do try. Apologies accepted for your bad thoughts. I also apologies if I came across initially as beeing a litle brash, but I don't like to beat around the bush, and I get to the point fast. Hence me just jumping straight in and voicing my opinion. I must say thank you for posting some of my links, as I have not yet reached my 20 posts yet and can't post my own links, so much apprecieted. If there is anything I can help you guys with then just let me know. |

Glad I could help you out madrake.. I sort of realized at the time of posting them, that you couldnt yet, and wondered if it would be ok for me to do it.... But If I was wrong, Kevin would have let me know...Like I said, last night it was a bit late for me to do any reading, but hope to be able to escape grandkids this week and do some digging.

Natural healing is definitely something to be seriously considered. Read widely and deeply for knowledge. We can all benefit a lot from this forum because we can ask very specific questions. I would say that I would have been dead many years ago without the intervention of natural healing. Not that Drs are not important. Of course they are. I always ask my GP to refer me to specialist if I know he is not too sure of my problem. I just think that sometimes we wait too long until our problem becomes too big to handle. Prevention is better than cure is still a good rule to follow.

I agree that if we are to take responsibility for our own health, it's up to us to educate ourselves.
For a couple of years after realizing that I wasn't getting healthier from taking piles of prescription meds after a stroke and heart attack, I was very critical of all conventional medicine and practitioners. But I came to realize that there are two aspects to healthcare. One is emergency care for acute health conditions, such as in an accident with broken bones and such. Conventional medicine excels in handling these acute conditions. Convential medicine fixes broken health. What conventional medicine is not good for is maintaining health. This is long term, overall improvement and maintenance of good health by being educated and healthy lifestyle - physical and emotional - choices. So both types of health care have their purpose. My observation is just that the conventional healthcare field has attempted to handle an area that they are not trained to handle! Cheers, BB
