A 15+ drop dose can be nasty, so why prolong it with several swallows?? :-)))
Hey, I just dilute the activated solution with only enough water that I can comfortably and quickly gulp in one quick swallow, followed by a quick reloaded water gulp in the same juice glass that I swish around a bit before swallowing. I also make sure I hold my breath before gulping to make sure I don't smell it either. That works best for me!
(I can't understand why anyone would drag it out.)
The original instructions call for 1-6 drops MMS requiring 1/4 teaspoon of activator (1/4 tsp = 1.25 ml = a little over 24 drops).
For 7-15 drops of MMS, use 1/2 teaspoon of activator (1/2 tsp = 2.5 ml = a little over 48 drops).
For 1-6 drops of MMS, I dilute mine with 118 ml of distilled water or filtered tab. For more than 6 drops, it would be best to dilute with 237 ml or more.
corpus, I too like to get it over with. However, the smaller the amount of diluent makes for much more parts per million (PPM) of chlorine dioxide which has already activated after 3 minutes. You can make yourself sick unnecessarily with too little diluent.
It might be disconcerting to some who worry needlessly that great precision is required to activate the MMS properly. The only thing that actually needs attention is the number of MMS drops when first starting, and then only +/- a few drops MMS once your body gets used to it.
Activator amount should be at least 5 times more than MMS amount, but being a little short on activator just makes a bit less chlorine dioxide. On the other hand, using 10 times the activator will maximize chlorine dioxide production, but will also make a more acidic solution for nastier taste (if you don't just gulp and then rinse gulp water like I do).
I think stomach contents or lack thereof makes more difference since protein and anti-oxidents like vitamin C will neutralize chlorine dioxide while starch or an empty stomach and no anti-oxidents will allow greater absorption of chlorine dioxide. If I was sick, I would take my MMS first thing in the morning on an empty stomach and delay eating for at least an hour.
However, I can't live without morning coffee (#1 anti-oxident in the U.S. diet), so I take my 10 drop maintenance dose just before bed to give my dinner protein as much time as possible to get out of the way. Body does repairs while sleeping too...

My body is well acclimated to MMS since I started in November. However if I take a 15+ drop dose on an empty stomach I can get queasy. When that happens I simply drink a glass of water.

Yes. Drinking more water afterwards does decrease the amount of CLO2 PPM. CLO2 continues to be produced for about 12 hours. More slowly than the external activation stage.
I started last September. I've grown accustomed to only a half cup of water on an empty stomach. I have now gone to 6 drops and half cup water for daily maintenance. Bed time is best for me.
I have taken to mixing activators, same proportions but part citric acid and part lime. I can handle that a lot better!

I've started making activator by adding ~5% citric acid powder to 5% distilled vinegar. This actually is stronger acidically that plain vinegar, but a bit weaker than straight 10% citric acid.
The reason I do this now is to use some of the normally wasted outgassed chlorine to make (DCA) dichloroacetate when the sodium chlorite breaks down leaving the chlorine dioxide. So I get DOUBLE WHAMMY MMS!!
Antomarki - I think the abbreviation "gr" was the one used for grains and gm is used for grams
Is the 5.5 measurement referring to the liquid contents of the bottle? As though in fluid ounces? If so, that should be equal to 165 millilitres.
I have got into the habit of translating one fluid ounce to 30 mls ( being absolutely precise, it is 29.57 mls) - it is not exact but as near as makes little difference, unless you are in a laboratory doing something vital!
A common point of confusion is to mistake the difference between a fluid ounce and an ounce as a weight measurement. When we changed to the metric system here (uk) can you imagine the chaos?
Just got Adam Abrahams DVD about MMS - Conversations with Jim Humble yesterday and finished viewing it. If you are into MMS it is a must have. Adam really did an excellent job.

I confess I can no longer tolerate the taste of MMS after five months of usage. My remedy was at first holding my nose but I'm now using a swimming noseplug until I can get to the bathroom and brush with Dr. Bronner's peppermint soap. My 22-year-old son just laughs when I try to get him to brush with it. It works for me.
I have to admit that I have not been as diligent as some here. I tend to use it when I feel that its needed, most recently after my trip to Mexico when my stomach came back feeling quite bad. It got rid of it in a few days. And I have been using it to brush my teeth but I don't always swallow it.
Can you report any benefits for you? or any adverse reactions aside from taste aversion?

I switched from apple juice to Grape or Black Cherry juice--R W Knudson brand from the health food section at the grocery store. It makes the MMS much more tolerarble. But now I can't stand apple juice.
Arrow and Mari, hello. I'm just trying to keep taking MMS like Jim says to do. He's been taking it longer than anyone and is doing well. I feel fine as long as I can get my sleep. I drink at least four cups of energized water which helps me sleep. I bought a pad that energizes my filtered water pitcher for $50 at www.gethealthyagain.com and the family and I use it. I did get the flu New Year's Eve but it's a virus and the MMS wouldn't help it anyway as I understand. I tried Clara's protocol but it didn't seem to help me. I feel like MMS could be helping me "hold it" better to reach the loo. I used apple juice until it ran out and I don't like being dependent on having juice around so not tasting it at all seems to work fine. I swish it before swallowing. I have noticed no teeth whitening though. What's your trick? Question: is there ever a time the protocol would have to be repeated? What are your thoughts?
