I agree. I am totally on board with juicing and will be buying a juiced shortly. I am just getting very depressed about the fact that there isnt many success stories out there. The few I do find are like "I'm 50-80% cured, as long as I don't eat anything with sugar, dairy, alcohol, spice, or grain. Do my 4 hours of exercises a day, and take a hour hot bath every night. Also my 50 different supplements a day. Don't forget not to have sex or masturbate more then once a month.". That's not going to cut it for me. That's not cured in my book, that's accepting defeat, and letting the whatever it is problem win. By all means I don't expect to go back to consuming the junk I was before and not taking care of myself, but I would like to be able to go out for a pint and some nachos with the guys again, not having to worry if I'll be paying for it for the next 5 years of my life.
Sorry if this sounds cinnical, but I needed to vent some frustration. By no means does this mean I am giving up, it just means I am not going to settle at 90% cured. 100% means cured to me.
Puresong this vent is no way directed at you, I appreciate your help. It's in response to all the forums I have been reading today and the fact that all I have ate today is a light veggie salad and a bunch of MMS. O and the constant feeling of having to urinate.
Question for you guys, do your symptoms seem better or worse just after dropping a stool? Mine are feel better for a very short time.

At one point during my illness I stopped taking most of the supplements and narrowed it down to 2 supplements for prostatitis and a supplement for my joints ( they were messed up by three months of antibiotics) before that i was taking a lot.
I think it is a good idea to simplify things, so you can narrow down whats working and whats not.
jofus, I have never tried mms or been on the diet you are on, but if what you are doing is a detox, it is very normal to experience an extreme low morale since your body is releasing a ton of toxins into your blood stream and working your immune system/liver/kidneys very hard.
I remember doing a detox regime and actually having predictable mood swings during the process.
I am 100% better, have sex all the time, and am in better shape then when I was "diagnosed"
I do clearly remember my symptoms seeming better after taking a crap, for a little while.
Having symptoms 24/7 is the worst i dont know if thats where you are at now, But that was definitely the hardest part.
I remember being really depressed when i was only having symptoms for an hour a day, just because it seemed like it would always be there.

yeah, at first I was trying everything I heard might work. No way of knowing what works and what doesn't that way. I have cleaned up my diet a lot. My next step once I get a juicer is to do a juice cleanse/fast. I want to make sure my body is prime condtion first off, and then go from there.
BTW if anyone has or knows of any protocols of a raw veggie juice general body detox/rebuild, I would like to see them.
I am also doing the boiled broccolli broth protocol right now, I havn't found that it is helping though.

Herbs
I just posted about a few herbs that may help prostatitis in my reply to puresong's thread about Optimal Urethra Health in the Men's Health forum, just thought it should go here too, might be helpful.

i am doing tons of supplements still but i have stopped vit c as i too am taking large doses of mms. i really like the mms. i have had 2 days where i had bad D other than that i feel abit like on a detox and bubbly noises in my tummy.
i started the candida diet again and plan to be strict and not stop for 4 weeks. it is very similar to what is recommended by prostate suffers and health nut anyway. i am thinking that yeast fungus can be part of all our problems. i have read that bacteria fungus viruses parasites all sometimes feed off each other or flourish with each other.
anyway i feel better than i have in months, my junk is warm and hanging lower, i am having natural sex 1 2 and even 3 times a day and feel better not worse.
i do the prostate massage once if not twice a day. i do it when symptoms come back which they do every day so far. i find it clears out the junk and freshens the prostate. i always get a fluid come out. i feel way better 90% of the time in ten minutes. when i have ball pain or tight penis or cold units or decreased sex drive. i really hold a lot of stock in it. yes i totally hate it but with the right tools it does get easier when you get results. it is my own secret i share with you guys because i know it works and if it helps someone else great.
i play sports but one thing for sure i always feel worrse after sports. hockey being the worst as it is way more intense. i sweat more and work the heart more. why i feel worse instead of better is a mystery. I WILL BEAT THIS i think biking is very bad. i bought a 3000$ mountain bike and road it 2-3 hours every second day. my pereneam was sore for 2 and a half months when i got severe cp. i think there may have been a bllod flow or a pinch or a nerve stress too. i would make sure you have a good seat adjusted. spider flex is the seat i will buy before going on my bike all together. my uro said biking wasnt a problem but countless websites some the cream of the crop in the medical world even state that we shouldnt or it even may cause prostatitis. we need blood flow to that area bad and if our blood is old or full of toxins like mine most likely.
i hope for more improvement with mms the always humbling massage (never invisioned id be doing that 10 years ago) zinc some silver water lots of supplements allicin and now the hellish candida diet.
i will be getting results back from my hair analysis and if anything pops up or give a clue i will share with you guys right away. i would suspect zinc and magnesium to be low.
good luck and lets not rule out fungus from woman, hot tubs, sex, sweet sex lubes, bad diet, stress and antibiotics. a naturopathic doctor said once i may havehad an infection got rid of it then yeast fungus candida may have reinfected it... just food for thought with all of our antibiotics we have swallowed. (its all about the natural response to decompose if the signals are saying dying meat all those pathogans go to that spot like in the natural order of life)
good luck guys!

does swimming seem to help "IwillbeatThis"? for me it totally helped. surfing too, just being in the water.
I am glad you are doing better!
keep us posted
When I first got diagnosed I told my girlfriend to leave (I always had a back up plan that if anything happened to my junk I would "monk it" and become some sort of spiritual poet) so i thought it was time to cash in my "monk card" haha, well I am cured and married now.
so much for the spiritual frontier (:

Iwillbeatthis, my Wife learned some acupressure from a doctor of physical therapy we know, She hasnt done it in a long time. but it really helped me when i was having 24/7 symptoms. I was able to think clearly not in pain for a few moments.
Isn't crazy how pain changes your personality?
It was a combination of points on the foot at the same time, we will try to re learn it and get that info to you.
Stress and was a big factor in the 24/7 symptoms, particularly the strain on my relationship. also sleep.
whether i was in pain or not i would ejaculate every day, to keep the tubes clear haha.
Man it sucks to hear someone else is goin through that. I will talk to my wife and try to remember the most helpful things.

helpmy, I do the massage as well, but I haven't found it to do much good for me. I have been unable to get a discharge. I feel worse after running and going to the gym, and I used to bike a lot when I was a kid, not sure if that makes a difference.
Do any of you guys get sore in your leg, anywhere from the thigh to the knee. I have also been sore in the right leg and knee. It has gone away and come back, same as my lower back pains.

Fly far, you don't want instant relief because it doesn't last. Try to work with your body's natural ability to heal yourself. The cure is a slow steady uphill climb. but everyday you get a little better and it last forever.
minimize the stress in your life, get plenty of sleep. Take only a few select supplements.
Focus on eating healthy food. Dont worry about restricting your diet, unless their is some obvious allergy.
Get in good shape with low impact workouts, for example: swimming, yoga, tai chi.
face a fear, learn something new and fun
this is good for will power and motivation.
I feel like after putting your body back in balance, you will find the cure that works best for you.
Its a great start.

A doctor explained this to me once, I think its called un localized pain. try stretching for an hour slowly, it may be muscle spasms.
The pain from the prostatitis probably gets you to tense up areas you didnt even know you had muscles.

What would you recommend for the best supplements to take?
Should i quite looking for a doctor who tries to understands and will listen to what i have to say?
I have been looking heavy into something called Pudendal Neuralgia.
<link removed>
Should i quite looking for something it could be because it will just keep giving me stress?
I am in difficult pain and have been dealing with this for 2 years and i cant do it anymore!
Thanks for your feedback
