Sadly, health is one of those things that is not usually appreciated until it is lost, and a positive and happy state of mind has an enormous influence on our physical and mental well-being.

Fifty years old, a half-century of living, sounds intense to some people who view aging as a curse. I think it's much better to see it in a more positive light, we're blessed to have reached the age we are and should make the most of our precious years left here on this earth. Live for today, look forward to the future, and most importantly don't make the mistake that so many folks make by living in the past.
